Si The Death Set n’ont jamais vraiment récolté les fruits de leurs efforts, les choses pourraient bien changer pour le trio de Brooklyn. En effet, après avoir été stoppé dans la composition de son nouvel album par le décès brutal de son guitariste Beau Velasco, le groupe semble revenir plus fort que jamais. Au delà d’une envie retrouvée, « Michel Poiccard » – titre du prochain opus à sortir le 28 février – bénéficiera aussi du talent et de l’importante implication de Spank Rock et Diplo, comme le prouve « Yo David Chase! You P.O.V. Shot Me In The Head« , un premier extrait prometteur à voir le jour. Tracklisting et pochette ci-dessous.
En attendant, The Death Set nous offre une bonne petite mixtape qu’on ne se privera pas de croquer à pleines dents en attendant l’album. Car on ne pouvait espérer mieux que « Artificially Sweetened » pour transformer les prochaines fêtes en véritables tornades.
